This new club will provide educational and professional networking opportunities for students interested in Emergency Medical Services, Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue, Emergency Dispatch, Tactical Casualty Care and other types of emergency response needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the First Responders Club?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Citadel First Responders Club will help members understand the components of the Emergency Management System. The club will provide its members with education and opportunities in law enforcement, fire safety, emergency medical response and first aid. Students in the club will have the chance to teach their skills to our campus community. By offering on-campus training workshops, we can empower members of The Citadel community in responding in the event of an emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n

IT STARTS WITH YOU<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of our early goals is to have a well-trained, student-led emergency response team on The Citadel campus in the near future. This team would be the first of its kind at The Citadel. <\/em><\/strong>Team members will be on duty during various campus events for immediate response to emergencies. To successfully complete this mission, we need motivated students to build, grow, and sustain our club.<\/p>\n\n\n
