Suicide Prevention Collaborative<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Office of the Commandant, the School of Humanities & Social Sciences, and the Department of Psychology are proud to host the Suicide Prevention Collaborative.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Suicide Prevention Collaborative is a full-day, interactive working session designed to bring together key campus stakeholders to strengthen our understanding of and support for student mental health and to promote more coordinated, evidence-informed prevention efforts across campus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day centers on small, facilitated breakout discussions led by trained facilitators and suicide prevention experts<\/a>. Participants will actively engage in structured dialogue and collaborative problem-solving focused specifically on suicide prevention at The Citadel. This event is not lecture- or presentation-based; meaningful participation is expected throughout the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the Collaborative is a one-day event, it is designed to spark sustained efforts that enhance connection, early identification, and coordinated support across campus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not the end of the conversation \u2014 it is the beginning of a long-term commitment to fostering a safer, more supportive community. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
