High school students learn applied physics on campus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Physics hosted a summer applied physics experience for high school students in June. During the event, high school students worked with physics faculty and a cadet assistant on several hands-on activities, including the physics of the toy-string shooter.  Students built their own string shooters and faculty led a discussion about the physics behind how they work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
