Gold Stars may be worn on a cadet\u2019s uniform in the semester following the academic achievement. In addition to the pins, veteran students who achieve Gold Stars are recognized with a black blazer and a challenge coin. For a complete list of students who earned Gold Stars, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/today.citadel.edu\/gold-stars-for-fall-2023-awarded-to-citadel-cadets-and-students\/\">The Citadel Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Gold Stars, students who achieved a 3.20 or higher GPR for 12 or more semester hours were named to Dean\u2019s List. Cadets named to Dean\u2019s List received a medal, which is worn on their uniform during the semester following their academic achievement. Non-cadet students on the Dean\u2019s List were presented a certificate. A list of students named to Dean\u2019s List is published on <a href=\"https:\/\/today.citadel.edu\/cadets-and-students-named-to-the-citadels-fall-2023-deans-list\/\">The Citadel Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most distinguished cadet awards presented at The Citadel is President\u2019s List, which indicates excellence in academics and military duties. The list is a combination of the Dean\u2019s List and the Commandant\u2019s Distinguished List and is composed of cadets who contribute the most to their companies while maintaining excellent military and academic records.
