Four Finalists Identified in Presidential Search<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Citadel\u2019s presidential search committee has announced four finalists being considered for the role of the 21st president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In alphabetical order, the finalists are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lt. Gen. E. Miles Brown, USA, \u201995;
Lt. Gen. Thomas S. James Jr., USA (Ret.), \u201985;
Gen. Kenneth F. \u201cFrank\u201d McKenzie Jr., USMC (Ret.), \u201979; and
Maj. Gen. John H. Phillips, USA, \u201990.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are excited by the selection of these four highly qualified finalists,\u201d said Col. F. G. \u201cGreg\u201d Delleney, \u201974, chairman of the Board of Visitors<\/a>. \u201cThe overwhelming number of interested applicants and the exceptional quality of candidates seeking to lead The Citadel are evidence of the college\u2019s status as an elite institution. Each of these candidates, who have distinguished themselves in their professional careers, would be an exceptional leader of The Citadel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
