Celebrating Constitution Day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In celebration of Constitution Day on September 17, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences is hosting a talk by Carson Holloway, Ph.D.<\/a>, entitled \u201cThe Founders and New York Times v. Sullivan: Libel and the American Constitutional Tradition.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Holloway is the Ralph Wardle Diamond Professor of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Political Science at the University of Nebraska, Omaha, and a Washington Fellow in the Claremont Institute\u2019s Center for the American Way of Life. He is the author of \u201cHamilton versus Jefferson in the Washington Administration: Completing the Founding or Betraying the Founding?\u201d and is the co-editor, with Bradford P. Wilson, of \u201cThe Political Writings of Alexander Hamilton\u201d and a forthcoming book titled \u201cThe Political Writings of George Washington.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 7 p.m. in the new Legal Studies classroom, Capers Hall, room 2135, on Sept. 14.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
