Associate Professor Jen Albert<\/a>, director of the STEM Center of Excellence, is part of a team that was recently awarded a National Science Foundation Discovery Research in K12 Education grant. The grant, entitled Investigation of Students\u2019 Learning, Interest, and Career Aspirations in an Integrated Science and Artificial Intelligence Learning Environment, is an effort led by North Carolina State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This four-year, Level II, design and development project in the learning strand follows the overarching goal of transforming the traditional means of teaching middle-school STEM curriculum into an educational system that enables students to develop the requisite skill set needed for AI-infused STEM problem-solving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Anita Zucker Institute for Entrepreneurial Educational Leadership hosted a professional development for Dorchester School District Two educators on artificial intelligence in education. The professional development program was led by Albert and Assistant Professor Greg Harrison<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Program Coordinator of Teacher Education Christopher Dague<\/a> was honored as a distinguished alumni at his alma mater, Campbell University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty of the Zucker Family School of Education attended the Charleston County School System Back to School Bash held at Credit One Stadium in Daniel Island.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
