He has published works in the fields of public finance and southern politics. He is the co-editor of\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Presidential-Elections-South-Putting-Political\/dp\/1588267385\/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1404329747&amp;sr=1-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Presidential Elections in the South: Putting 2008 in Political Context<\/a><\/em>,<em>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Paler-Shade-Red-Presidential-Election\/dp\/1557289158\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A Paler Shade of Red: The 2008 Presidential Elections in the South<\/a><\/em>, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Second-Verse-Same-First-Presidential\/dp\/1557286485\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Second Verse Same as the First: The 2012 Presidential Election in the South<\/a><\/em>, and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Presidential-Election-Elections-Political-Process\/dp\/1793646694\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The 2020 Presidential Election in the South<\/a><\/em>. Dr. Kapeluck\u2019s primary research interests are Southern politics, political behavior, and Congress.
