The focus is on learning physics ideas by seeing how real systems behave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is this more like a class or a workshop?<\/strong><br>It is closer to a <strong>workshop<\/strong> than a traditional class. The emphasis is on experimentation, design challenges, and problem-solving rather than lectures or note-taking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do students need to be interested in attending The Citadel to participate?<\/strong><br>No. Students <strong>do not need to be considering The Citadel<\/strong> to take part in this experience. The event is open to any high-school student who is curious about learning physics by doing and exploring hands-on STEM projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What should students bring?<\/strong><br>Students should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes appropriate for working in a lab. <strong>All project supplies <\/strong>are provided, and we also provide snacks and lunch during the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is there a cost to attend?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes. The registration fee for this event is <strong>$35<\/strong>.<br>The fee covers <strong>all project supplies, snacks, and lunch<\/strong> for the day.
