LeTellier Hall is home to all the offices, classrooms and laboratories of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department<\/a>. State-of-the-art equipment and one of the largest hydraulic testing machines in the South have been installed in the laboratories. LeTellier Hall also features an excellent engineering library for supplementary study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Constructed in 1937, the building was named for Col. Louis Shepherd LeTellier. LeTellier was the longtime head of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and served as an interim president of The Citadel after Gen. Charles P. Summerall retired in 1953, until the appointment of Gen. Mark W. Clark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
