Dr. Eloy Urroz

Dr. Eloy Urroz is an Associate Professor of Spanish. His current research interests include 20th century Latin American Novel, 20th century Spanish Poetry, and Creative Writing. He has published eight novels, four books on literary criticism, four books of poetry, three political reportages and dozens of essays, articles, and reviews on Latin American and Peninsular Culture and Literature. Some of his novels have been translated into English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and German. Prior to come to The Citadel, Dr. Urroz was an Assistant Professor at James Madison University. He has lived in France, Spain, and Mexico City with his wife and two children.
