Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are very enthusiastic as we enter the ninth year of the Mechanical Engineering program. The Mechanical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http:\/\/www.abet.org<\/a>. Additionally, we will continue to mature our student chapter of ASME and enter student competitions as interest grows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mechanical Engineering Program of Study offers focused tracks in Power and Energy, Manufacturing, Aeronautical Systems, Materials (Composites), and Mechatronics. We offer Mechanical Engineering courses to all cadet and day students as well as full-time evening students transferring from Trident Technical College and other schools. We have been ordering new lab equipment to supplement our classroom instruction and provide some “hands-on” learning. We will continue to procure equipment as our enrollment grows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
