PharmD\/MBA Concurrent Degree Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The PharmD\/MBA Concurrent Degree Program between The Citadel and MUSC allows students to earn both Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees in the same four-year period. Consequently, participating students benefit from significant savings in time and money, while preparing themselves for a wider range of career opportunities. The Citadel MBA element of the program is offered online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concurrent Degree Program Admission Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Although the MBA program has traditionally required a bachelor\u2019s degree, they have agreed to accept PharmD students who have completed a total of 124 credit hours. Students can apply during the semester they are finishing up their 124 hours. PharmD students may apply to The Citadel to begin any semester, but are encouraged to start during the Summer after their P1 year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MUSC PharmD students must submit an online application, official undergraduate transcript(s), official MUSC transcript, PCAT scores, two letters of recommendation, and a resume for admission. Financial Aid Awards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Students from MUSC\u2019s PharmD program who enroll in The Citadel\u2019s MBA program concurrently will be given four tuition waiver awards at the time of admission. Students should confirm with The Citadel Financial Aid Office when they wish to use an award after registration. Each award is the equivalent of the cost of in-state tuition for one (1) 3 credit hour course. Only one award can be processed for each semester. The PharmD\/MBA award does not include the costs of fees, textbooks, or materials associated with the course. Non-resident students will have to pay the tuition difference. Students must remain in good standing in the MBA Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transfer Credit Approval<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Citadel will accept the transfer of approved courses from MUSC\u2019s PharmD program to be used towards the MBA program. In order for courses to transfer, they must be completed with a grade of B or better and meet the requirements of the college\u2019s transfer policy. We encourage you to contact the MBA Advisor with any questions regarding the completion of the MBA Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
