She has a BS in International Business from the College of Charleston and worked as an import analyst shortly after graduating in 2016. She realized that mathematics and teaching were more exciting and decided to go back to school for a Master&#8217;s degree. While earning her degree, she taught at a local charter school. She also worked as an SI for calc 2 and privately tutored math students in her spare time. In 2020, she graduated from The Citadel with a Masters in the Art of Teaching Mathematics. Rather than return to the high school level, she found more excitement at the college level. Professor Morrissey is now the Math Lab coordinator and works to better support students encountering various levels of math.
