Welcome to the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at the Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The future of business belongs to leaders who can navigate uncertainty, think strategically, and create value in an increasingly interconnected world. Rapid technological advancement, global competition, evolving workforce dynamics, and complex societal challenges require professionals who can adapt, innovate, and lead with both competence and character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship prepares students to excel in this environment through a curriculum grounded in experiential learning, critical thinking, ethical leadership, and global engagement. Students move beyond the traditional classroom to solve real-world business challenges through consulting projects, case competitions, internships, simulations, entrepreneurial ventures, and partnerships with industry and community organizations. These experiences enable students to apply theory to practice while developing the analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills demanded by today\u2019s organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our programs emphasize evidence-based decision making, strategic problem solving, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking. Students learn to evaluate complex issues from multiple perspectives, collaborate across diverse teams, and lead effectively in domestic and international contexts. Through engagement with contemporary business challenges, students develop the agility and resilience necessary to succeed in rapidly changing environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consistent with The Citadel\u2019s commitment to principled leadership, we prepare graduates who are not only capable managers and entrepreneurs, but also responsible leaders dedicated to serving their organizations, communities, and society.
