Dr. Egan completed an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at Georgia Southern University, where he taught leadership courses and coordinated a nationally benchmarked undergraduate leadership program. He received his B.S.Ed. in Sport Management and A.B.J. in Telecommunications at The University of Georgia before completing his Master of Science in Kinesiology (Sport Management &amp; Policy) at The University of Georgia.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His research explores attributes of quality leadership programs, innovative teaching strategies for leadership learning, and the transferability of collegiate leadership development to the workplace. He has publications in&nbsp;<em>The Journal of Leadership Studies<\/em>, <em>The Journal of Leadership Education, Management Teaching Review, <\/em>and the<em>&nbsp;College Journal of Student Affairs<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Experiential Learning &amp; Teaching in Higher Education<\/em>. He recently co-edited an issue in&nbsp;<em>New Directions for Student Leadership<\/em>&nbsp;focused on leveraging games for leadership learning and edited a symposium on games used for leadership in the <em>Journal of Leadership Studies<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Egan leverages the following certifications to facilitate development for organizations, teams, and individuals: Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, EQ-i 2.0\/EQ-i 360 facilitator for emotional intelligence development with Multi-Health Systems, MBTI Step I Certification, Workplace Big Five Profile Certification, and the Enneagram through Cloverleaf.
