Tier Four<\/a> event. It is a one-day-only competition; no provision will be made for class conflict, Corps Squad practice, etc. The event may require unique athletic skills or physical fitness. The division winners (i.e., Male and Female) are competitors with the lowest total time for all events. Transitions between events will not be timed.<\/p>\n\n\n\nRoster<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
All students are eligible to play. The desired roster size is two players per company. No more than six players per company may participate. If a competitor abandons the swim, bike, or run, they are eliminated from competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rules<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Competitors will report to the Deas Hall Swimming Pool by 1600 on race day. The order of events is 300m Swim, 6m Stationary Bike, and 1.5m Run on a motorized treadmill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Swim<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Competitors begin in the pool at the shallow end. The distance required is 300 meters. Swimmers may use any stroke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bike<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Cyclists will use stationary bikes in the Deas Hall Cardio Area. The distance required is 6 miles; the setting is Manual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Run<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Runners will complete a one-and-one-half (1-1\/2)- mile run on a motorized treadmill in the Cardio Area. The incline will be set at 3 degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
