1. Individualized Instruction<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by the Oxford model of tutorial instruction, Citadel Honors students have one-on-one teaching and advising with program faculty every semester. Individualized instruction allows faculty and students to identify personal and professional goals and develop pathways to achieve them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

2. Scholarship Opportunities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To support the commitment of Citadel Honors students, four-year scholarships are available to all students who are chosen for the program. You can learn more about the application and selection process here.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

3. Priority Scheduling<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Honors students are given greater flexibility in choosing general education strand courses which take advantage of their varied interests \u2013 all while receiving priority in developing their class schedules.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

4. Leadership Development<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Corps of Cadets model of The Citadel means that cadet leaders have important roles in a student\u2019s education in the barracks and beyond. Our success in shaping principled, well-rounded leaders in the Honors Program is epitomized by the majority of regimental and battalion cadet leadership positions being earned by Honors cadets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
