I wanted to commit to a program that continually makes me excited about my field and pushes me to think better, do better, and be better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An Honors experience at the university level is one that can be quite different from what potential applicants experienced in high school. It isn\u2019t about simply doing \u201cmore work,\u201d but engaging with more meaningful and challenging material that helps students identify what careers and a commitment to service means to them. In The Citadel Honors Program, we trust the potential and ability of our students to tackle more challenging material earlier, fully prepared to consider \u2013 and address \u2013 the issues of the past, the present, and the future, whatever their particular career aspirations are.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/history\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/84\/Lynch_Ryan-Portrait-scaled-e1758208551942.jpg\" alt=\"Ryan J. I invite you to learn more about the Program and to see what our Citadel students do while here in beautiful Charleston. But vitally, you\u2019ll also have opportunities to learn about what our graduates have gone on to accomplish since earning their ring and beginning their careers.
