“For Excellence is Not Often Gained Upon Easier Terms”<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The best high school graduates are seeking college experiences that will both prepare them for their careers and continue to push them beyond what some think is possible. The Citadel Honors Program <\/strong>has been built to bring them together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Honors Program is The Citadel\u2019s premier initiative to enable and support the highest-potential and most dedicated students in the nation. Scholarship assistance, smaller classes, one-on-one learning with professors, and a peer community of passionate students significantly enhances The Citadel experience for those chosen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citadel Honors students are challenged to go beyond traditional college coursework. They are the students who embrace interdisciplinarity, taking classes which leverage their interests across majors and minors. They want opportunities to go deeper into topics which spark their curiosity and help prepare them for their career goals. And Citadel Honors students are given an even more active role in shaping their program of study, embracing opportunities to better understand and confront both the controversial and the complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not about more work \u2013 it\u2019s about more meaningful<\/em> work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
