How do I qualify for in-state tuition?<\/summary>
\n

Information about SC residency can be found on the SC Commission of Higher Education\u2019s website at https:\/\/che.sc.gov\/sc-residency-information<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any student or prospective student who is uncertain concerning entitlement to payment of in-state tuition and fees<\/a> has the responsibility of securing a ruling from The Citadel by providing all relevant information on special application forms. These forms can be obtained from the Office of the Registrar, Bond Hall, Room 173, or online at http:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/registrar\/forms\/<\/a> and are to be completed and returned to that office at least four weeks prior to registration for any semester or summer term for which the student is attempting to qualify for payment of in-state tuition and fee<\/a> rate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is the average entrance exam score for accepted students?<\/summary>

The CGC no longer requires entrance exam scores as part of student applications.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you have housing available for graduate students?<\/summary>
\n

Housing is not available for CGC students EXCEPT for students enrolled in summer classes. Students may choose to live in the barracks during the summer. The cost for living in the barracks as well as meal plans can be found on the fees page of the summer school web site.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How do I order a class ring?<\/summary>
\n

All CGC students graduating from degree programs are eligible to purchase a CGC Class ring<\/a>. CGC students may order their ring upon completion of all but the final two semesters of coursework\/internship and must possess an overall 3.0 GPA. To place a class ring order, contact the Alumni Center at: 843-953-7694. The Alumni Center will verify eligibility with the CGC office.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Where can graduate students park on campus?<\/summary>
\n

CGC students who purchase a parking pass<\/a> may park their vehicles in any parking lot on campus after 4pm EXCEPT LOT \u201cB.\u201d Students may part in LOT \u201cB\u201d after 5pm. CGC students requiring access to the campus before 4pm must obtain a temporary parking pass from Parking Services. Parking passes are available for purchase in the Office of the Treasurer. After purchasing the parking pass, take your receipt from the Office of the Treasurer to the Parking Services office, Richardson 209, to get your parking decal. A parking decal is required to park on campus.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you have a recommendation letter form?<\/summary>

We do not have a standardized form for letters of recommendation. We do require signatures on all official letters of recommendation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I only start in the fall or can I start in other semesters too?<\/summary>
\n

The Citadel Graduate College offers rolling admission, which means we accept students every fall, spring and summer semester, with the exception of a few programs. A few of the graduate programs have application deadlines, but for those that do not have specific deadlines, we strongly recommend that all application materials be submitted at least one month prior to the start of classes. For details on entry terms and application deadlines, please refer to the Academic Catalog.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I defer my acceptance to a different semester?<\/summary>

Students can defer their entry term for up to one year. In the event that you request a new entry term that is more than one year from your original entry term, you will need to re-apply and go through the admissions process. Students must follow the curriculum in the catalog for the new entry term for matters of academic policy and graduation requirements.
