Elissa, a third-class student from Hotel company, comes from Andrews, South Carolina. She is a Second Battalion legacy as her father graduated from Hotel, Class of ’93. Elissa is an Intelligence and Security Studies and Spanish double major with a double minor in Cyber Interdisciplinary Studies and Leadership Studies. She is a member of Sigma Delta Pi and Phi Kappa Phi. She has received Gold Stars every semester and President’s List twice. Academically, Elissa is a member of The Citadel Distinguished Scholars Program, The Citadel Leadership Scholars Program, and The Yawkey Scholars Program. She derives much of her happiness from serving as Sierra Company Commander, where there is never a dull moment. Following graduation, Elissa hopes to attend a prestigious postgraduate program, where she will study Foreign Relations and International Affairs.
