Annika, a Senior from Echo Company, is currently serving as the Palmetto Battery Commander. Originally born in Canberra Australia, the External Communications Editor currently calls Fort Mill, South Carolina home. Annika is a Biology major with a minor in Chemistry and a passion for all things science. She is the Historian for The Citadel’s chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta, which is the National Health Pre-professional Honor Society. She has earned Dean’s List or Gold Stars every semester as a cadet. Annika is also a former Division 1 athlete, playing soccer for The Citadel from 2019-2022. Currently, she is a member of The Citadel Surf Team and most recently she helped her company win the intramural softball championship. After graduation, Annika plans on working in the healthcare field whilst finalizing her applications for Medical school. After that, she would like to attend the Uniformed Service University of Health Sciences to pursue a career as a physician.
