He came to The Citadel fully aware that he was entering one of the toughest engineering programs, but he also knew he wouldn\u2019t be able to succeed on his own. <em>\u201cNever be afraid to ask for help; you never know what success might come from it.\u201d<\/em> He plans to use the education and leadership skills he has developed over the past four years at The Citadel as an aviation officer in the United States Army.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-citadel\">The Citadel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are about 2,400 undergraduate students who make up the <strong>South Carolina Corps of Cadets<\/strong>. <strong>82%<\/strong> of Cadets receive financial aid, and over <strong>88%<\/strong> are employed at the time of graduation. Students can choose from <strong>over<\/strong> <strong>30 Majors<\/strong>, <strong>50 Minors<\/strong> in five academic schools, with an accelerated medical program.
