The college reimburses you for <strong>some<\/strong> of these miscellaneous expenses.&nbsp; It&#8217;s usually best to be aware of what is&nbsp; and is not reimbursable before you spend your money and run the risk of discovering that the college, by law, cannot pay you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you travel, review the list below and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/root\/fins-accounts-payable\/287-info\/administration\/department-of-finance-business-affairs\/financial-services-department\/22662-nonreimbursable-expenses\">Non-reimbursable Expense List<\/a>.&nbsp; Contact the Accounts Payable Office (953-5026) if you have particular concerns about extra expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Receipts for Miscellaneous Expenses<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Save receipts for expenses over $25.00.&nbsp; You may attach them to your Travel Reimbursement Document to be reimbursed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make notes of expenses less than $25.00, or save those receipts, too.&nbsp; You do not need to submit these receipts to be reimbursed, but a written explanation should be included with your TRD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Some of the Miscellaneous Reimbursable Expenses<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following lists some of the most common reimbursable expenses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Getting around\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Parking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bridge and ferry tolls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sky caps, porters, or car rentals if you have equipment or extra luggage specifically related to&nbsp; the purpose of the trip<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Special care needs\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Personal care attendant fees and travel expenses for disability accommodations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communications\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One brief telephone call to your family per night, and all business calls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connecting modems for your laptop PC&#8217;s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While traveling, you will spend money for other things than your airfare, conference registration, lodging, meals and car rental.&nbsp;
