{"id":27,"date":"2022-12-01T17:17:43","date_gmt":"2022-12-01T17:17:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/fins\/?page_id=27"},"modified":"2022-12-01T17:17:44","modified_gmt":"2022-12-01T17:17:44","slug":"local-travel","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/fins\/accounts-payable\/local-travel\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Travel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>(over 10 miles one way &#8211; 20 round trip)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Local travel is defined as any round trip of 20 miles or more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel for less than 20 miles round trip is NOT reimbursable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If monthly cumulative local travel is over 40 miles, mileage may be reimbursed. Submit a travel reimbursement document at the end of the month for all local travel during that month. You may use a <a href=\"https:\/\/web.citadel.edu\/root\/images\/fins\/mileage.xls\">mileage log<\/a> to document the business travel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On campus travel is not reimbursable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>AUTHORIZATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Travel Authorization is not required for travel under a 50 mile radius (100 mile round trip).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For travel over 50 miles you must obtain a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/root\/fins-accounts-payable\/287-info\/administration\/department-of-finance-business-affairs\/financial-services-department\/22657-complete-the-travel-authorization-request\">travel authorization number<\/a> or have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/root\/fins-accounts-payable\/287-info\/administration\/department-of-finance-business-affairs\/financial-services-department\/22657-complete-the-travel-authorization-request\">blanket travel approval<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong><br>REIMBURSEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reimbursement is requested through a travel reimbursement document.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More than one local travel reimbursement may be requested on a single <a href=\"https:\/\/web.citadel.edu\/root\/images\/fins\/travel.xls\">travel reimbursement document.<\/a> Each individual round trip must be documented separately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(over 10 miles one way &#8211;
