Michael D. Fay served in the Marine Corps as a combat artist with nine combat tours. He participated as one of The Citadel’s first resident Combat Artists in the fall of 2022, during which he was sufficiently impressed with the experience to offer an award for the best student artwork in the new Combat Art course taught by his colleague, Col. Craig Streeter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
