He earned his Level 2 Case Writing Certification from the CASE Association in 2017 and has held numerous senior leadership roles within The CASE Association, including Treasurer (2025\u2013present), President (2008\u20132011), Program Chair (multiple terms), Certification Marketing Director (2016\u20132021), and Vice President for Membership and Fundraising Coordinator (2005\u20132007). He has been a CASE Fellow since 2018, an honor recognizing distinguished service and contribution to the advancement of case-based learning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\nDr. Desplaces has provided extensive editorial leadership in case scholarship, serving as Associate Editor (2023\u20132024) and Editorial Board Member of The CASE Journal.
