Bio
Dr. Gail Gilmore brings 25 years of school leadership experience into the classroom, having served as a Connecticut superintendent of schools, assistant superintendent of schools, principal and interim division director for educator effectiveness and professional learning at the Connecticut State Department of Education. She previously taught graduate courses and superintendent courses in educational leadership at three universities, and served as the former Director of Educational Leadership for the Master of Teacher Leadership program and the Sixth Year Principal/Leaders’ Preparation Program. Her research interests lie in school leader evaluation and equity education. She is delighted to join the Zucker Family School of Education faculty at The Citadel this fall 2021.
