CAEP 2020-2021 Accountability Measures for Initial Programs <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Measure 1 (Initial): Completer Impact and Effectiveness<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
Data must address: (a) completer impact in contributing to P-12 student-learning growth AND (b) completer effectiveness in applying professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions.<\/em>

1. (a) SC Ready and MAP Scores<\/span><\/strong>
Data were not available from our school representatives. The EPP is continually working to determine a means for acquiring the data from other district personnel and hopes to have access to this data for the next reporting year.

1. (b) Teacher SLO Scores<\/a><\/strong>
Teacher SLO Scores measure the impact of teaching performance on student growth, determined by the teacher\u2019s ability to set appropriate goals for student learning and development, accurately measure and analyze student growth, and to plan, implement, and adjust instruction to ensure maximum student progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Measure 2 (Initial): satisfaction OF EMPLOYERS AND STAKEHOLDER INVOLVEMENT<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
Data provided should be collected on employers’ satisfaction with program completers.<\/em>

2. Employer Satisfaction Data<\/a><\/strong>
Data provided were collected from employers based upon their satisfaction with the preparation of program completers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Measure 3 (Initial): candidate competency at completion<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
Data provided should relate to measures the EPP is using to determine if candidates are meeting program expectations and ready to be recommended for licensure.<\/em>

3. Completer Competency Data<\/a><\/strong>
Data provided demonstrate the EPP is meeting program expectations and preparing candidates to be ready to be recommended for licensure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Measure 4 (Initial): ability of completers to be hired<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
Data provided should relate to completers ability to be hired in positions for which they were prepared.<\/em>

4. Program Completer Employment Data<\/a><\/strong>
Employment data demonstrate that nine of eleven program completers secured full-time teaching positions in the content areas in which they were prepared. One completer is serving as an ongoing substitute teacher and the other completer obtained a corporate position outside the education field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAEP 2020-2021 Accountability Measures for Advanced Programs <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

MEASURE 2 (ADVANCED): SATISFACTION OF EMPLOYERS AND STAKEHOLDER INVOLVEMENT<\/strong>

4. Program Completer Employment Data<\/a><\/strong>
Employment data demonstrate that the majority of completers are hired in positions for which they were prepared. The only exceptions are those completers from the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership for which two are instructional coaches and five remain in the classroom teacher role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
