Follow these steps to begin your Degree Completion Program application:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-review-admission-requirements-and-deadlines\">1. Review Admission Requirements and Deadlines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each degree and certificate program has specific admission requirements and deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For details on your program of interest, please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/college-transfer-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Degree Completion Programs page<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For more information on admission requirements, please visit the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/degree-completion\/requirements\/\">Admission Requirements<\/a><\/strong> page.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> Transfer applicants must have an accumulation of at least 30 hours of college credit with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 scale (a minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.0 is required for consideration). This is while taking courses equivalent to those offered at The Citadel.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-create-your-account-and-start-your-application\">2. Create Your Account and Start Your Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>First-time applicants<\/strong> need to <a href=\"https:\/\/apply.citadel.edu\/apply\/\"><strong>create an account<\/strong><\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be able to view the status of your application by logging back in. Your account allows you to:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Request information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit an application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload supplemental documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register for events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-submit-your-application\">3. Submit Your Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Application Fee:<\/strong> A non-refundable fee of <strong>$40<\/strong> is required for the Graduate College and Degree Completion Program applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be prompted to pay this fee once your online application is completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-upload-supplemental-documents\">4. Upload Supplemental Documents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Many programs require additional documents (e.g., resume, writing sample, questionnaire, letter of intent).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submission: Upload these documents as .pdf files directly in the application portal for efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you encounter technical issues, you can email documents to <strong><a href=\"mailto:cgc@citadel.edu\">cgc@citadel.edu<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-send-official-transcripts-and-documents\">5. Send Official Transcripts and Documents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must submit <strong>official transcripts<\/strong> from each institution attended (bachelor&#8217;s degree conferred and higher coursework). Official documents must meet the following criteria:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be sent directly from the issuing college\/university\/testing agency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All official documents must be sealed and stamped by the issuing institution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documents sent through student interference or by the student will be considered <em>unofficial<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sending Transcripts:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Citadel Graduate College<br> 171 Moultrie Street<br> Charleston, SC 29409<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For electronic submission, students can use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parchment.com\/\"><strong>Parchmen<\/strong><\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parchment.com\/students\/order-status\/\">t<\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified electronic submissions can be sent to <strong><a>cgc@citadel.edu<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-check-the-status-of-your-application\">6. Check the Status of Your Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log into <a href=\"https:\/\/apply.citadel.edu\/apply\/\"><strong>your account<\/strong><\/a> to check the status of your supplemental items.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the bottom of your account home page, select the link to <strong>\u201cSubmit Supplemental Items.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Items will be marked as <strong>\u201cReceived\u201d<\/strong> once processed by the admissions office (allow 1-2 business days).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-7-await-communication-regarding-your-application-status\">7. Await Communication Regarding Your Application Status<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will receive an email once your application is complete and sent for review.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expect a decision within <strong>5-10 business days.<\/strong> Admission decisions are communicated via email only (not by phone).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-8-deferring-your-application\">8. Deferring Your Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students may defer their entry term once, for up to one year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you wish to request a new entry term beyond one year, you must reapply.
