He obtained his BA degree in Criminal Justice and Religion from Campbell University and post-bachelor&#8217;s degrees at UNC-Wilmington and Indiana University-Bloomington in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and Criminal Justice, respectively. He will soon be defending his Ph.D. dissertation at Indiana University-Bloomington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assistant Professor Farrell&#8217;s research interests include adolescent delinquency, ethics, quantitative research methods, and the Criminal Justice system&#8217;s response to vulnerable populations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-degrees\">Degrees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Ph.D.<\/strong> in Criminology and Criminal Justice (Indiana University-Bloomington)<\/em><br><strong>M.A.<\/strong> in Criminal Justice (Indiana University-Bloomington)<br><strong>M.A. <\/strong>in Sociology and Criminology (University of North Carolina Wilmington)<br><strong>B.A.<\/strong> in Criminal Justice and Religion (Campbell University)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Assistant Professor Mitchell Farrell is originally from Durham, NC.
