Dr. Ilagan received his Ph.D. from Clemson University in Educational Leadership. His educational pursuits also include a master\u2019s degree in Clinical Counseling from The Citadel, and a bachelor\u2019s degree in Psychology from College of Charleston. Dr. Ilagan is a South Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, as well as a National Board Certified Counselor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Ilagan also provides training at both national and international levels to counselors on suicide prevention. His research interests include counselor effectiveness, wilderness experiences, and the mental health of college students. As well, he is an avid hiker, paddler, and cyclist.
