Bio
Rebekah D. Burke, Ph.D., P.E., LEED AP BD+C is an Assistant Professor of Construction Engineering at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Dr. Burke was previously the Director of Sustainable Design for Clark Nexsen, a full-service Architecture and Engineering firm, where she also began her career as a structural engineer. She was a founding board member and the first chair-elect of the Hampton Roads Green Building Council. Dr. Burke has presented to many professional organizations, and served on a number of task forces, review boards, and committees, often in a leadership role, in service to the architecture, engineering, and construction profession.
