Given its strategic location on the northeast frontier of the European Union and NATO along the Russian border, its history as a former Soviet Republic, and its advanced security programs, Estonia is among the most exciting countries of Europe for the study of international relations, military affairs, and cyber security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll complete 2 courses (6 total hours) of undergraduate credit (or graduate level for MA students) that can be prefixed as PSCI and\/or INTL depending on your academic major and transcript needs. As part of The Citadel Medical Camp, students will spend 3 weeks in Nairobi (the capital of Kenya), serving impoverished populations in the major slum areas. Students will work alongside Kenyan and American clinicians in partnership with the non-profit organization United Cultural Empowerment and Social Community Organization (UCESCO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will acquire over 150 clinical service hours through various medical rotations and 6 credit hours (EXSC 406, EXSC 421, HLED 411) depending on your transcript needs. Over one month, participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a Chinese-speaking environment, engaging in activities that improve communication skills and foster a deeper understanding of the Chinese language and Asian culture. The students will skillfully use the Pinyin system with correct pronunciation and writing. The students will recognize and write Chinese characters and learn computer typing in Chinese. Moreover, students can engage in enterprise visits and cultural field trips through the term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earn 6 credit hours and complete 2 Chinese courses towards your elective and\/or language requirements.
