Dr. Suzanne Mabrouk has been at The Citadel since Fall 1993. She earned her Ph.D. in organic chemistry at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA and her A.B. in chemistry with a minor in mathematics at Wheaton College in Norton, MA. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of chemistry with students in both the classroom and during extensive office hours. Her hobbies include soap and toiletry making, woodworking, cooking, and reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Mabrouk teaches a variety of courses, which include organic chemistry, introductory chemistry for non-science students, and a course in the chemistry of art. She is interested in how students learn chemistry, their attitude towards the subject and its influence on their performance in class, and the chemistry involved in art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
