A Clinical chemist conducts research and develops laboratory procedures that help physicians make earlier, more precise diagnoses and tailor therapy for patients. As technology develops &#8211; in &#8220;hot&#8221; areas like molecular biology, vaccine development, or transplant medicine &#8212; a clinical chemist applies knowledge to develop practical applications of these advances<sup>\u2020<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><sup>\u2020<\/sup> Adapted from the American Association of Clinical Chemists<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-student-learning-outcomes\">Student Learning Outcomes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students majoring in chemistry with the B.A &#8211;
