for Excellence and Innovation in Teaching and Learning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Center for Excellence and Innovation in Teaching and Learning collaborates with various institutional units,&nbsp;faculty, staff and programming to achieve the following goals and outcomes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-goal-1-nbsp-promote-excellence-in-teaching-and-learning\"><strong>Goal 1:&nbsp; Promote Excellence in Teaching and Learning<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide comprehensive, evidence-based programming that highlights best practices in teaching and learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide leadership for innovation and implementation of evidence-based approaches to F2F, hybrid, and online teaching.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote faculty and staff development in quality online teaching and learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support a comprehensive faculty mentoring program<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-goal-2-enhance-faculty-and-student-experience-and-engagement\"><strong>Goal 2: Enhance Faculty and Student Experience and Engagement<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support the professional growth of faculty and staff across their career span and across disciplines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop leadership capacity in teaching, curriculum design, development, assessment, and innovation across all levels of the college.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote faculty and staff engagement in best practices of teaching and learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote faculty and staff innovation in the use of technology.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-goal-3-cultivate-a-climate-of-innovation-for-teaching-and-learning\"><strong>Goal 3: Cultivate a Climate of Innovation for Teaching and Learning<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Foster a shared, cross-curricular knowledge base of best practices in teaching and learning to encourage innovation and excellence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage in the scholarship of teaching and learning to foster innovation and excellence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support faculty and staff innovation in teaching and learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advocate research-based approaches for innovation in teaching and learning.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-goal-4-advance-citadel-online\"><strong>Goal 4: Advance Citadel Online<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deliver a high-quality online learning environment that is effective and responsive to the diverse needs of the Citadel community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support continuous quality improvement of online programming.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support leadership formation as a critical component of all online course development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the development of student success and engagement through the development of virtual community.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-goal-5-extend-scale-of-offerings-and-resources\"><strong>Goal 5: Extend Scale of Offerings and Resources<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain a funding module that promotes quality teaching and learning, including support for resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leverage the Center for Excellence and Innovation in Teaching and Learning to enhance the Citadel\u2019s community, network, and partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with other centers and departments on and off campus to foster best practices and collaboration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve as a campus hub for
