You will build practical skills for designing assignments and using tools that support original student work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-you-will-complete\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Will Complete<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To earn the certificate, complete these three trainings in Canvas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Adapting Classes and Assignments for the AI Era:<\/strong> Revise course activities and assessments to reflect how students now use generative AI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor:<\/strong> Learn to set up secure, proctored online exams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Turnitin Similarity:<\/strong> Learn to use similarity reports to support original work and have informed conversations with students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adapting Classes and Assignments for the AI Era also counts toward the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/ceitl\/advanced-online-teaching-certificate-2\/\">Advanced Online Teaching Certificate<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learn more about these tools on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/ceitl\/turnitin\/\">Turnitin<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/ceitl\/respondus-lockdown-browser-and-monitor\/\">Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor<\/a> pages, and see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/ceitl\/teaching-in-the-age-of-ai\/\">Teaching in the Age of AI<\/a> for strategies on designing assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-how-it-works\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How It Works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All three trainings are self-paced in Canvas and include step-by-step tutorials and hands-on practice tasks. Each training ends with a final quiz, and you must score 90% or higher to complete it.
