It includes three self-paced trainings in Canvas, each with step-by-step video tutorials, practical guidance, and best practices that reflect Citadel expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Canvas Fundamentals and Best Practices for Assessment and Grading are required for all instructors. Best Practices in Online and Hybrid Teaching is required only if you teach an online, hybrid, or hi-flex course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-you-will-complete\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Will Complete<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-canvas-fundamentals\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canvas Fundamentals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learn to navigate, customize, and manage your Canvas courses, whether you are new to Canvas or want a refresher. You will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set up your course homepage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create assignments, discussions, and quizzes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organize and manage course content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply accessibility and usability best practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more, see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/ceitl\/canvas-for-faculty\/\">Canvas for Faculty<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/ceitl\/accessible-canvas-content\/\">Accessible Canvas Content<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-best-practices-for-assessment-and-grading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Best Practices for Assessment and Grading<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Strengthen how you design assessments, give feedback, and grade in Canvas.
