We are excited to announce the integration of ReadSpeaker into our Canvas platform. ReadSpeaker is a text-to-speech tool designed to make course content more accessible. This feature is now available to all Canvas users and can be accessed on any device with an internet connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Access ReadSpeaker in Canvas:<\/strong> The ReadSpeaker listen icon at the bottom left of the course enables user to listen to content to be read out loud to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Use ReadSpeaker:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Listen Icon:<\/strong>\u00a0The speaker icon will activate the listen button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Activate the Listen Button:<\/strong>\u00a0Drag the volume arrows to move the Listen button to the desired position.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Adjust the Listen Button:<\/strong>\u00a0Click on \u201c?\u201d to learn how to use the button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. Access Help:\u00a0<\/strong>The settings button will let you set individual preferences for settings, including reading speed, highlighting colors, text magnifying, and automatic scrolling.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Customize Settings:<\/strong>\u00a0Click the play button to play or pause the audio<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
