Leading Traditions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a central part of The Citadel\u2019s time-honored traditions, the Regimental Band and Pipe Band play a vital role in the grand military parades that take place on the Charleston, S.C. campus. These parades, steeped in history and pageantry, showcase the precision and discipline of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets and the Regimental Band’s stirring performances elevate these events to new heights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On scheduled Fridays during the academic year, The Citadel Regimental Band leads the Corps of Cadets as they march in perfect unison across Summerall Field, performing anthems, marches and ceremonial music that reflects the proud heritage of the military college. The music not only accompanies the cadence of the march but also inspires pride in the cadets, alumni and spectators alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Citadel Regimental Band\u2019s presence during these parades symbolizes the college\u2019s commitment to excellence in leadership, service and discipline.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
