The Citadel is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges<\/a> (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, and specialist in education degrees. The Citadel also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. The Citadel\u2019s Zucker Family School of Education\u2019s educator preparation programs (EPP) are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) which include programs for secondary teachers at the bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s level, middle grades teachers at the master\u2019s level, and physical education teachers at the bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s levels.
