Colonel Christopher Auger is the Commander of Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 765 at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. Colonel Auger is responsible for the supervision and training of one of the largest cadet corps in the Air Force, with more than 450 cadets. He also serves as the Professor of Aerospace Studies; his staff of motivated, professional officers and non-commissioned officers administer a robust training program, to include formal classroom instruction, leadership laboratory, physical fitness, and officer candidate mentoring. Colonel Auger instructs the senior level cadet curriculum and prepares graduating cadets for active duty service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Colonel Auger earned his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Norwich University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He obtained his master’s degrees from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and the Air Force Institute of Technology. Prior to his current position, Colonel Auger served as the Deputy Director of National Security Council Matters, where he prepared the Chief of Staff of the Air Force for strategic level deliberations and developed the Air Force’s consolidated position on Joint and interagency affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
