He teaches intermediate and advanced accounting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His research areas are financial disclosures on intangible assets and bank accounting. He recently published articles titled \u201cThe Effect of Regional Differences on the Value-Relevance Proposition for Intangible Assets\u201d and \u201cPro-Cyclicality of Provisions for Loan Losses\u201d in the <em>International Journal of Finance and Banking Studies<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to teaching, he is a faculty advisor of the Citadel Beta Alpha Psi Chapter, Xi Tau. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is married to Jeesook Beck, an art critic and independent curator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-degree\">Degree<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ph.D.: Purdue University<br>MBA: Purdue University<br>ME: Seoul National University<br>BE: Seoul National University<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bio Dr. Kwangsoo &#8220;Kevin&#8221; Lim joined the Citadel faculty in August 2018 after spending 13 years with Connecticut State University.
