Thank you for your interest in supporting The Citadel; all gifts to the college are greatly appreciated. The Citadel Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Service code section 501(c)(3). The Citadel Foundation records all gifts to The Citadel into the proper accounts and provides gift receipts to donors. Gifts to The Citadel are acknowledged by TCF. Your acknowledgement letter serves as your official tax receipt. All gifts postmarked by December 31 will be receipted for that year's tax credit. Financial information will be provided in response to reasonable and specific requests. In every case, however, it is the policy that the names of donors and prospective donors as well as any personal or financial information be held in the strictest confidence.
In considering
a gift to the college, please note that the number of gifts from alumni and other
college constituencies is important in determining The Citadel's standing in national
rankings of colleges and universities. Please
