The mission of the Staff Council is to provide a forum for Citadel employees to present issues and discuss concerns that impact the quality of our work environment.

Members of Staff Council are elected from all campus departments. Representation is based on a 1:15 ratio of eligible permanent employee positions within each of the following constituent areas: Academic Support, Auxiliary Services, Institutional Support, Operations & Maintenance, and Student Services.

Meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month, and all employees are welcome to attend. Staff Council is also involved in various community service projects including Adopt-A-Highway and the Angel Tree project which helps children in the community at Christmas.

All employees are encouraged to join the Staff Council Group Studio on Lesesne Gateway, where you can see the latest announcements, meeting minutes, and a listing of elected Staff Council members.
