Interdisciplinary Minors

Interdisciplinary minor courses of study allow students to explore the connections between different academic disciplines and methodologies and to use them to achieve a fuller understanding of complex subjects. Students working in these areas will coordinate closely with their advisers and professors to select courses that permit them simultaneously to examine the same topic from differing perspectives of separate disciplines. Directed independent research, internships, or study abroad experiences are part of all of these courses of study.
Interdisciplinary minors are offered in the following areas:
African American Studies
East Asian Studies
International Relations
Leadership Studies
Non-Western Studies
Southern Studies
Interested students should consult the relevant program's web site and speak with the program's director.
