Invitation to Participate in the Veteran Success Jam

Want to contribute to a national discussion about veterans in higher education?  Then consider participating in the Veteran Success Jam, May 3 -6, 2010. 

The American Council on Education and the Kresge will be hosting “a national conversation on how higher education can contribute to the successful reintegration of returning veterans”.  Some of the topics that will be discussed include:

·         How to support veterans and service members navigating their way to college;

·         How colleges, universities, and employers can support veterans transitioning to their next career;

·         Awarding academic credit for military training and occupations.

The best news is that you can participate if you have a computer with internet access.  We’re certain each of you can offer some great advice on how schools and VA can better help veterans and their loved ones so we encourage all of you to apply.
