To help smooth the way...

MECEPs should submit a copy of their orders to the Registrar's Office so that they can establish residency status.

MECEPs should apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Although the FAFSA is not mandatory, we do encourage all students to complete one.

MECEPs that will be using their MGIB-Active Duty should apply as soon as they are able. All veterans and active duty service members should be very cautious when choosing between MGIB and Post 9/11 VA Educational benefits. For more information, students should visit www.gibill.va.gov or contact the Veterans Coordinator.
